With over 35 years of experience in business, education and non-profit environments, Dr. Parks brings a wealth of understanding and expertise to her clients.
With strong roots in education, she has taught all levels -- from elementary through graduate school. A tracking of the evaluations of her recent educational offerings showed a consistent overall client satisfaction rating of 4.5 or above (rating scale: 5=very satisfied). As a master teacher, she brings a passion for learning and teaching -- and a love of people -- into all of her work.
Dr. Parks also has a strong research background, with proven expertise in the area of instrument design and program evaluation. She has specialized training and experience in helping clients reduce unnecessary training and enhance the ability to diagnose performance needs and take appropriate action. She developed a performance diagnostic tool, designed to help Sales Managers take action to improve performance of sales people. Dr. Parks has also developed and administered research that was designed to assess adult learning needs in a non-profit organization.
She has developed upward feedback instruments for assessing the coaching effectiveness of line managers in both business and non-profit sectors. Her work resulted in implementation of successful job performance improvement plans.
Her proven leadership in the non-profit sector includes helping teams develop and accomplish their goals. Most recently, she has been instrumental in helping a non-profit (faith-based) organization develop and implement a plan for social justice and outreach. The program resulted in collections of thousands of pounds of goods, as well as hundreds of "in-kind" volunteer contributions of time and talents. Program results measured 100-300% of target goals.
Certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, she has delivered numerous workshops in both business and non-profit sectors. Her passion and enthusiasm come through each time she works with clients to help them better understand their style and preferences -- leading to improved work group performance.
Dr. Parks also has successful experience in large business sales as well as in corporate training and development. As a top sales person, she consistently received recognition for her ability to exceed sales quota. She was received a "Circle of Honor Award" from AT&T for her work in developing and implementing the Pacific Rim Seminar, in Seattle, Washington. The seminar attracted key business leaders from various industries doing business with Pacific Rim countries, as well as representatives from key Pacific Rim consulates.
